Hm, what installer??

I noticed that in the recent announcements about the Duke in regards to SU14/15 compatibility there were mentions of some installer software. Could you please elaborate on this software?
One reason why I liked buying addons from Just Flight, which were mostly previous Black Square aircraft, was that I got to download the actual addon to put into my community folder, unlike some other retailers which forced me to give them full access to my computer by requiring me to install their installer software and run it with full admin privileges every time, even though the MSFS community folder is accessible by my user account, so there is no valid need for administrator access. Very suspicious.

Yep, no difference in the delivery software used here from all our other releases.
There is an additional simple popup at the end of the install that is unique to the Duke, but no additional rights or whatever are required.

Wow, yea, looking at my past downloads, looks like you're right, they're all exe files. Don't know why I thought I would just get the addon (which would be much preferable anyway). Disregard my post then :)

well it s not a dedicated app if it s what you meant, wich act as a store platform if you thought about aerosoft orbx or flybywire apps, here by installer they speak about an executable *.exe file.
