For the Bonanza and Baron steam gauge add-ons, please provide a link to the command/data/event listings, for configuring physical sim gear to controls / instruments in these aircraft, such as from SPAD.nExtj.

    Thank you,

    Kirk

Although I have started included these lists in the manuals of my more recent aircraft, like the upcoming Dukes, only a list of the most common inputs and outputs reside at the top of the behaviors XML for the Baron and Bonanza.

Unlike some aircraft that hide their functionality behind WebAssemby modules, all functionality for my aircraft can be accessed from the RPN environment, and you can find anything you're looking for within the XML files. There are lots of posts on the MSFS officials forums and here on the Just Flight forums about these two aircraft, and much of this information is also cataloged at https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/#/.

If you have any further questions about these aircraft in particular that you cannot find the answers to, I am always more than happy to lend a hand!

@KRoy7 I have almost everything on the Baron mapped/linked in Spad.Next. I have exported all data to a pdf file using Spad.Next, but It's a lot of data to share in this forum (see a small example below).

Is there anything specific you are looking for?

I have been successful today in finding the initial events and variables needed to be able to use my physical gear to command VS and Alt functions on the pre-selector. The only unexpected thing is that after I achieve a targeted alt, in order to change the VS value again, I have to command AP_PANEL_VS_HOLD (when using my gear instead of the sim instrument). Using the sim, I can set the VS value before arming VS if that makes sense.

The other interesting thing is to get used to not having the HSI sync its CRS to the GTN 750. It syncs the horizontal offset but not the CRS of the active leg. Obviously I've been using glass cockpits too much!

Finally, there seem to be some quirks such as the GTN 750 jumping an IAF to go straight to an IF on an approach ... so I'll be studying and practicing ILS and RNAV (GPS) approaches to try to figure that out.

It's a really nice aircraft, you should be quite proud of your work.

@KRoy7 have you tried to use these events instead?

Appreciate the AP MSFS and B events listed above. My understanding is that the only way that I can ARM a target altitude or VS value, is via the specific controls on the altitude preselector, which I do not believe the above events correspond to?

@KRoy7 I know the events listed above will let you bind all the buttons, switches to your home cockpit, and you will be able to do the same tasks you usually do using the mouse.
I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish can be done using the mouse, for instance.
