Is anyone able to point me to the correct Lvars to use in the Black Square Baron B58P (in FS2020) to handle the input from the two electric fuel pump switches in my DIY cockpit?

I am binding my switches using SPAD.Next or in FS2020/Options/Controls otherwise, but I am finding the naming of these things sometimes a bit too cryptic for me to imagine what actions they fire off to the sim.

I can upload a profile when I get home in a couple of days, may I ask what controllers you use?

I'm not sure what you mean by "controller". I think my answer should be "None".
I have built a cockpit in which I have replicated the pilot's side of the 3D image you see in the Baron in FS2020. So I have physical switches connected to a Leo Bodnar board (BU0836X) and I am using SPAD.neXt to handle the switch inputs for me.

I have been busy researching and have got it working satisfactorily. I discovered that I have to turn on the correct electrical circuit as well as switch the pump on.

        “A:CIRCUIT SWITCH ON:4, bool”, and “A:CIRCUIT SWITCH ON:5, bool”

So, for the left pump switch:

“Set LVAR:VAR_FUEL-SWITCH_PUMP_1 to #"; where # is the state of the switch. 0=Off, 1=Low, 2=High.'

and Set CIRCUIT_SWITCH_ON:4 to 1 (or 0 for off)

        For the right pump switch:

Same as above except use “Set LVAR:VAR_FUEL-SWITCH_PUMP_2” and

for the electrical circuit use “Set CIRCUIT_SWITCH_ON:5 to 1” (or 0 as appropriate)

Everything is now working as it should.
        Cheers!

Is there any list of Lvars etc for the BKSQ Baron?
I Got the plane to work in MSFS24, but i just cant find how to control some of the switches, for example Fuel Pump switches, all the de/anti-ice I am using SPAD!

I can not even get the fuel pump switches to work via MSFS control settings!

              Hello Ernie,
That must be frustrating for you. One of the joys of this game. It's been 16 months since this post was active so I'm a little uncertain where I might've saved things or what I have deleted in the past few months.
In a few hours time I will be able to have a search through my file system and see if I can find a link for you. As I recall, there was a very useful online resource that some kind person passed me a link to. I'll look for that.
              Sorry about the time delay.

Hey! Thanks mate! Happy you replied! 🙂
I have tried with the settings of Lvars etc above here, but does not do anything. Now, I am using MSFS2024 for this, just for info.

I have also tried all MSFS controls setting regarding pumps & bus circuits etc to no avail.
Oh, and I also tried the "Behaviours" Tool in Dev Mode, but i believe they were "O" & "K" vars.

I can use the mouse of corse, its just so fiddly with the Fuel pump switches.

Happy if you have any tips at all, but I will survive otherwise as well 🙂 haha. And no hurry of corse.

(I Live in Sweden, so UTC -1 now)

@ErnieBall with a greeting like that I become curious about what part of the world you live in. 🙂
I contacted the BKSQ Baron vendor and found them very helpful.
I'll have a look later today. Just a few things I have to do first.
                  Cheers from NZ

                      @ErnieBall
I was engaged in a nice conversation with @Blackquare (here is a link to it https://community.justflight.com/topic/6020/baron-icing-switches/29?_=1711145386266) and he included a hyperlink in one of his messages that might be useful for you too.
                      Good luck.
