Condition of cockpit layout at startup (Baron & Bonanza)

I'm using the |AS430_Hidden| and |AS530_Hidden| data together with |PMS50_GTN750_RUNNING| to define what RNAV/GNSS layout my controllers should be set to control. I belive AS*30_Hidden are not set to 1 at startup, even if the cockpit loads with them hidden.
Any suggestions other than needing to switch through the cockpit layout at startup to get this to work?
I tried making some extra expressions in my mapping software, but it became buggy and over-complicated.

The easiest solution is to look at the L:Vars "L:var_radio1Mode", and "L:var_radio2Mode"; however the meaning of those variables can change across my aircraft.
