Never seen anything arm. Press NAV and FD and it just greens up.

Arming Alt Cap is an absolute lottery.

Be interesting see how same system functions in the upcoming PC12.

No issues here upon:

Set target altitude
Press VS
Set vertical speed
ALT CAPT is armed automatically.

Any autopilot related issues are almost certainly an outdated or incompatible GPS package in the community folder, or in the in-game marketplace.

Please make sure that the GNS530/430 package from Working Title is up to date in the in-game marketplace, and that no other GNS530/430 packages are present in the community folder. If you are using the PMS50 GTN 750 or the TDS GTNxi 750, please make sure those are up to date as well. No other compatibility mods or optional packages are required for the autopilot to function as designed.

Working great now.

Updated TDS 750 and reinstalled.

Have my Saitek panel set to hit "VS" and dial it in, Alt Capture automatically activates.

Don't know how it works that way... but I'm happy.

I would appreciate knowing the Lvar to activate the 850 mode switch.

Typed var_850... etc into the box next to the "K" in my Streandeck profile and Voilla !
... It works...

Have no idea why. 🤣
