No, you need external software like Axis And Ohs, spad.next or similar. Or you can use MobiFligh which is free. All of these are capable of sending commands to the flight simulator. In this case you tell the simulator to recharge the battery to 25 V.

I use AAO... Does this work like a button command? Sorry, I still have to dive deeper into what AAOS is capable of.

@rhinozherous I've written quite a lot of AAO scripts for the TBM 850. You can find them on flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/61922/blacksquare-tbm-850-scripts-for-lorby-s-axis-and-ohs-aao
Just download, unzip and import these scripts. You will find a new script group called BKSQTbm850. Create a new Assigned Button, select the script as Key Down Event
Press a button of your choice, AAO will detect it
Select Add. Now your battery will get charged to 25 V every time you press this button.
If you like to enhance your home cockpit an can recommend using additional hardware. A little bit cheaper is MIDI hardware like the Behringer Xtouch or the Korg nanoKONTROL2. A little bit more expensive something like a Elgato StreamDeck. All of these might be used along with AAO.

This was adopted to the Korg by me.

Thank you for the how to - I assigned the button but this actually LOWERS the voltage of the battery to 23V...

Thank you for the how to - I assigned the button but this actually LOWERS the voltage of the battery to 23V...
@rhinozherous This seems to be something TBM internal. As you can see in this image, when I run the script, the battery voltage raises to 25 V and a capacity of 67 percent:
Even when I change the voltage inside the script to 35 V, the voltage of the battery raises to only 25.8 V with a capacity of 100 percent:
It seems that the voltage display is some volts below the real battery voltage. Only BKSQ might answer why.

@rhinozherous I'm almost certain that the battery should charge when the engine is running and the generator is on, just like in a car. Probably something the developer can fix.

"The suggested solution should work fine. This has been requested several times for my various aircraft, so I will add battery recharging to the "repair engine" command. "Repair engine" also clears various engine performance issues in my piston engine aircraft, such as flooding, fouling, and vapor lock. Thanks for the suggestion."
