Blacksquare should've included a tablet.

For their first foray into making a plane from the ground-up, BS really should've included a tablet to control things like: -
Payload/W&B (because the default menu sucks)
-
Doors (all these click spots scattered around the cockpit are not super intuitive)
-
Failures - navigating these through the WXR is a chore
Plus, things like charts/checklists/etc. on a tablet are becoming more standard these days. I hope BS considers this for future products and adds it into the TBM one day.

Yeah, especially in planes without glass cockpit, an EFB for charts/maps/checklists is highly beneficial. Ideally, the tablet should be mounted on the yoke - like we do in real-life. And for perfection, it would be great If the documentation is also available on the tablet.

I would agree, but in the sim allot of people hide the yoke so that would be problematic.

Actually, you can bind a key/button to show/hide the yoke, which in turn makes it easy to quickly get the tablet in sight when needed.

When I have a tablet I never forget to load the plane with passengers and fuel. For some reason I do forget it when I have to use the menu. I would've like a tablet too, even if it has only basic features.
