if you are having problems with the centre your best bet would be to contact JF support and we can look into it asap.

@derek I already open the ticket. Version 1.04 works fine so I cant understand why this is happen. Hopefully I will have some support from opem ticekt.
Let's hope so. We have spent a lot of time testing it and had a lot of volunteer testers from this very forum. I am surprised no-one has mentioned this up to now.

I did a complete uninstallation of version 1.0.4 and fleet. Deleted one remaining JF-module-folder in the community folder. Then downloaded and installed verison 1.0.5 and fleet 1.0.5. Everything seems to have installed. However I was never asked to verify my purchase during the installation process. And now the Traffic Control Centre app wont start, no matter what I do. What to do?
Best regards Jan
You should only need to verify purchase if you have just bought it. However, if you are having problems with the centre your best bet would be to contact JF support and we can look into it asap.
Okey, I have already opened a ticket with support.

No problems with Control Centre starting after update, but after an unhandled exception error and exit it will no longer open.

The Control Centre not opening is usually a sign that the fleet zip file has not been properly installed. If uninstalling and reinstalling both files doesn't work, I'd recommend contacting Just Flight support as per the link above.

@mhron Hi.
Actually I did the same as you. Downloaded and run the install but did not work. So I uninstallet all and starting from the very begining. One thing I have to say also. As I started the install process, it did not ask me for any serial nr or whatsoever. Just run the install and that was the whole thing. But anyway I will uninstall again and downlowad the files again and lets see how it will work.Best Regards

Anyone had any luck so far? Now in contact with support but first suggestions about redownloading and installing with virus software off didn't do the trick regretably... Search for solution goes on.

Hi. So far the same issue. I was thinking to remove again the new files and reinstall the previous version and testing again. Kind of kind of annoying that for some reason does not work. I have no clue where to look for the error since I do have install both files (Traffic and Fleet).

Ok guys, it starts for me now. The only thing I did was that I changed my regional format of Windows to English (United Kingdom). I use a czech version of Windows and we use , instead of . as a decimal point.
You can give it a try... Windows Settings -> Time & Language -> Regional Format and change that to English (United Kingdom).

@mhron Hi guys !!
So I tried what Mhron suggested, and in my case it worked (thanks for your tip :) :) ).
In fact, I had to change the format of the region from what I had (German/Austria..Deutsch/Österreich) to English/Austria. I tried to restore it again the to the original format (German/Austria...Deutsch/Österreich) but it didn't work. So I changed it back to the English/Austria option and so far it works perfectly.Regards

So changing regional format solved this issue with the Traffic control centre.
However doing this effects the entire way windows treats different formats. Living in Sweden we use the metric system not the British Imperial, which Windows now after the change treats as standard. Same goes with how dates and time is shown, not what I am used to as a Swede.
@Derek I think JF has to give priority to addressing this with an immediate hotfix. I used to have my regional format to "Recommended" (actually I have never changed it ever before) which is what I think you as a Windows user should be able to expect that installed software is able to comply with.
Apart from this, FS Traffic now seems to work much better. I really like the improvements I have seen so far.
Best regards Jan

I think it is the . , as a decimal notation that is the issue, not lbs and gallons - we use litres and metres in the UK (and - note to editors - we use meters to measure the number of metres). A more permanent fix than becoming part of Britain's once great empire is being looked into.

@derek Hi !

Anyway, I think we need a solution or some kind of update for the problem itself. It doesn't make sense in the long term to switch back and forth in the language or region settings.Regards
