Yes this happens but not at all airports maybe length of runway?. When ai does land long it misses the exit taxiway and crosses the grass! EGNX a good example.

This behaviour was introduced into SU12, Presumably Asobo changed the code to allow aircraft to exit the runway faster but in some cases this is the result. There are bug reports for this on the official MSFS forum but its mostly out of our control.
