Analog Caravan Kenmore Livery

The MSFS default Caravan already has a Kenmore livery. I have followed (I think) the instructions in the manual to apply this default Kenmore livery to my Black Square Analog Caravan, but with no success. My folder structure is OK I think, and dropping my layout.json on MSFSlayoutGenerator.exe populates layout.json without errors.
Any thoughts are most welcome.
