No traffic at arrival airport
-
I'm not sure my reply is helpful, but I "flew" (if you even want to call it that, it was so short) from Oakland, CA (KOAK) to KSFO (about 9nm), and traffic was not there when I first arrived, but as I taxied my plane around the airport terminals, planes started showing up after about 3 to 5 minutes. They never just popped up in my view out of thin air, but if I went to the south terminal to check things out, they would show up when I returned to the north terminal-- for example.
Maybe my trip was too short to be a good litmus test, so take it with a grain of salt. Should they have already been there when I arrived? Well, I thought that was the idea... but at least they showed up soon after. I know it's not perfect, but I'm new to the program, so somewhat lenient with its shortcomings until I get the hang of it. I'm sure I'll raise more questions as time goes on.

@chanjkhk This problem definitely exists! I have the exact same problem. The only way to get traffic back at that point is reload a new flight.
The only other issue I saw so far was a floating plane parking =/
I love all the Just Flight products I've bought in the past, and sure these issues will be ironed out, but there are most definitely issues and bugs that need addressed. GSX had at least as many on release too. These things are complicated and these developers are often pushing the envelopes of Asobo's sometimes limited SDKs.
What I do like is the frame rate. This is why I want to stick with this in the long run over fsltl.

@b3_burner I have tested longer flights (1-2 hours) before realizing there's nothing at the arrival airport and then switched to shorter flights to test. For my case its VHHH to VMMC and EGLL to EGLC.
For something this short, I would expect the traffic to spawn when the flight started at departure airport.

So it sounds like in short flights, where (in my case) the two airports were within line of sight, the traffic from the departure airport may be helping to supply the traffic for the arrival airport.
Or if not that, then simply they are too close to each other to be a good working test. That's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying that point. -
Same for me, no traffic at arrival airport and little to none air traffic on my route. This happend to me on all three flights I have done. There need to be a hotfix for this really soon. I can't belive FSTL is giving us all this for free, but a premium product like this really let us down. For now I will install FSTL again, and ask for a refund. I really wanted this product to be great, but I am so dissapointed, at this price I don't expect to be a beta tester. How can they realese this when it's not working, it's beyond me. And it's not like it's only me who has this problem. Find it very strange that they say it's tested by so many and no one of the testers did experience this.

Hi all. Sorry to hear about the issues with arrival airport traffic. A few things to check.
-
If you entered the destination using in game panel then make sure you click the confirm button. Sounds a bit obvious but a few times I have clicked return on the keyboard instead of confirm. We’ll look at improving this going forward.
-
If you set up a destination using the MSFS flight planner or using an FMS that interacts with the MSFS flight planning system, make sure to open the in game panel for at least 10 seconds to allow FS Traffic to detect your destination.
If you follow the above steps and still have no destination traffic then other issues could be at play, the support team will be happy to help.
Thanks everyone
John - Just Flight.

Same issue, no traffic on arrival. Did substantial testing with numerous flights, but no luck. I definitely confirmed the destination, also planned within msfs and had the window open for a long time. Very buggy implementation up till now. Raised a ticket and hope you can fix it soon.

Why do people have to keep raising tickets. Just answer us in here, we all have the same issue NO TRAFFIC at our destination airport!. Individual support for what seems a global support issue, just means that person my get a good result and never report back, leaving us all in the dark!
Simply put, many of us are following the video and the manual and it is not working, why have 100+ tickets all saying the same thing, and reporting the same issue, and then typing the same answer all those times? It makes no sense to me?

@supersixbravo very much agree, they should definitely use the fora for communicating bigger problems. However I don't think there is a fix possible at the user end currently, and it's a weekend so most of their employees are offline. In the end, I think they just missed the ball here and released a product that is definitely not ready yet. Disappointing from a respected dev, but let's give them some time to patch.

The reason we ask you to raise tickets is because this issue has not appeared during testing and is not affecting the majority of users, so we need to ascertain what systems and what other add-ons the users are running., That is impossible in a forum, which is why we have never provided forum support for any product.

As it happens, our Support team has been working over the weekend. We have standard messages that remind people we are UK based and what our normal hours are. Most of the time our forum is very sparsely attended, is used for chatting about products among users and is no good for support. We have always operated an online support system for all our titles.

@derek I find it really hard to believe this NEVER came up in beta testing. There are ton of people with this problem. Look at the official MSFS forums: there are mostly people just having problems. It doesn't work for a huge chunk of people.
But, the problem isn't present for the vast majority of users. There are a 'huge chunk' of copies out there and if this affects, say, 5% of them, that will be a lot (a ton) of people but a small percentage - hence why we would reiterate, please contact support and help us to get to the bottom of the issue.
-
@derek how exactly would it help by you telling us how extensively tested it was and provided no solution it can just frustrate you, even more, knowing how much testing it went through and there are that many bugs and issues. I'm not trying to be offensive or any of that sort but not even one solution has been given or some type of troubleshooting.
