@bpfonteyn when arriving at destination airport there is no traffic at all. Completely empty. So its basically useless.
How did it get released if it is not working? Surely the devs and beta testers tested it.
I just looked on the product page (not ordered it yet) and there is a link for me to look at the manual. I click that link and get an error stating Access to downloads justflight com was denied.
Can I only read it if I have purchased the product? The product page seems to suggest you can actually download and read the manual before purchase.
Come on Just Flight, you should be doing better than this. :(
If the manual download is being blocked it may be due to a virus checker or similar on your PC. I have just checked and it is downloading fine.
The program DOES work. However, it is an AI traffic program, which, by its nature is fairly complicated and relies on more than one part of the sim to function. Hence it can be prevented from working as intended more easily than, say, an aeroplane. Most issues seem to be 'no traffic' and there are a number of ways to resolve this. Before release we put together an extensive list of FAQs, based on the beta testing we conducted, but there are probably always going to be situations and machine setups that won't have come up before.
We are asking anyone with issues to please contact our support team and we will do our best to get you up and running as we do with everything we develop or publish.Thank you Derek for your reply. I disabled my anti-virus and initially that didn't help. But then suddenly it did. I guess my AV was being stubborn.

Is anyone wanting a refund is banned? friend from Ireland nick noise212 he told me he got banned :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:
I'm afraid that was automatic because of copying pasting personal details into a forum. If he wants to contact Just Flight Support and raises a ticket we will endeavour to help.

I am wondering if it is certain add-ons that are causing issues with JF Traffic. I notice a lot of people talking about something called GSX Pro, which i do not have.
I do have a lot of third-party UK and Sweden airports, most of which have been purchased via the in-game FS Store. I have two airports (EGHF and EGHI) which are third-party direct purchases.
I am going to take the plunge and purchase JF Traffic and see what it is like. I currently use Simple Traffic (purchased via JF). I'll uninstall that and replace it with JF Traffic.

There is a limit on how many objects MSFS will display. At a highly detailed airport with something like GSX (which adds objects) traffic will disappear. This issue affects all traffic programs to varying degrees. We have included a tool to mitigate this, but if you are not adding extra clutter it should not be a problem.

I’ve installed both parts of the product; the main component and the Fleet exe.
I’ve put my settings as advised in the JF Traffic manual and set up my flight: EGHI to EGLC.
I then ensured that my destination ICAO was correct in the JF option on the in-game menu bar.
Before this I had Simple Traffic installed. At EGHI I would see A320 and larger there, which I’ve never seen at real life EGHI.
On launching into the game at EGHI with JF Traffic installed I am seeing far more realistic types of aircraft present.
Currently there are three aircraft at the gate. 2x Blue Island AT75 aircraft and a Loganair ERJ jet. The latter has pulled out of the gate and is now waiting at the hold point of the runway. It’s not moving from there and I see no incoming aircraft. As I type this the Loganair must have got fed up with waiting and has disappeared. I believe this is an issue with the game itself rather than with JF Traffic.
I haven’t taken off yet as I want to see more aircraft arriving/departing. Plus I want to listen to Ground and Tower to see how it is addressing the aircraft callsigns etc.
But my first impressions:
Easy to install
Easy to set up and tweak within the game
The aircraft I’ve seen at my initial load in airport appear to be real life true.
Good fpsFor reference purposes I have various small and large airports installed that are third-party. Vast majority are from FS Marketplace. Two, including the airport I’m now at, are direct purchases from third-party.
I do not have GSX Pro, or similar, installed.
Windows11
Intel Core i9-10900k Ten Core 3.7 GHz processor
32 GB DDR4 Corsair RAM
nVidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GPUMy current fps at EGHI is 66.
Using the Flightradar app on my phone, the timetable in game appears to be fairly accurate, though I guess it’s going to take some time before it becomes more realistic as flights arrive/spawn in/depart.
According to the app the next flight due in is not for another 1 hour and 15 minutes. So rather than waiting I will start my journey to the busier EGLC and see what happens.

Thanks for posting up your experience so far. With regard to the database it is from, I think, mid-2022. This is in order to provide a consistent traffic experience.

One thing I have noticed is that flights seem to be arriving/departing one hour early, according to FlightRadar24 app. We’re currently in GMT, as is my PC and game, and so is the app.
The aircraft now preparing to depart EGHI is not due out until 1500. It’s currently 1352. The aircraft that just landed, likewise was an hour early.
I have 2022 plans set in the JF Traffic settings.

Just landed at EGLC and it’s nice to see such an array of liveries there. Also nice to have correct sized aircraft at the gates whose tails do not block the taxiway, as I had with Simple Traffic. Flight timings appear to be correct too.
However, one odd thing. I’m not seeing any BA liveries at EGLC. I’m comparing a flight that is departing in game now with FlightRadar, and sure enough JF Traffic is showing that flight as departing. But, according to the FlightRadar, it should be a British Airways flight, yet I see no BA planes here. The in-game ATC is calling the correct real life flight number, but rather than calling it Speed Bird, it’s being called Flyer. I’m sure I’ve heard of British Airways Flyer before, so I’m guessing it’s what BA call their domestic flights. However, the aircraft in the game is not liveried in BA, instead it’s in that awful default orange and white paint job with no airline markings.
Does JF Traffic not have BA Flyer livery in its files?
I moved to EGLL and there are BA liveries there, with the Speed Bird call sign. So I’m assuming there’s either no BA Flyer livery, or an issue with it.
Good fps at EGLL (third-party dlc) at 40 fps average. However, I’ve only just spawned in so it may decline as more aircraft populate.
I am getting a lot of that awful default liveried aircraft at EGLL. I understand this means that JF Traffic does not have a livery for whatever airline it is. No big deal as I am aware I can go into settings and select No substitutions, or something like that.
But so far, I am very happy with JF Traffic. I just need to go make some slight setting tweaks.

If you submit a ticket with a screenshot and flight details of the BA one someone can check it. I hesitate to mention code sharing, but that might be an issue as per previous incarnations.

Further. When I went into my game settings I noticed I did not have Aircraft Traffic Type set to OFF, as recommended in your manual. I rectified that.
I also set No substitutions.
I also set MSFS Live Traffic to OFF. It was ON. I admit, I’m not sure exactly what that is relating to. Is it Live AI?
Once I’d done that I went back into EGLC and there were lots of BA planes there. However, rather than saying Speed Bird the ATC controller is spelling the call sign phonetically (Sierra Papa Echo … etc).
Jumped over to EGLL and all callsigns of all airlines is being said phonetically. I’m not sure if it’s anything I’ve done in the settings.

The phonetic spelling thing is a bug. The MSFS Live Traffic is the default.

Thank you.
Just a quick question. If I’m just interested in JF Traffic aircraft being generated, what should I set MSFS Live Traffic to?

Thank you. The phonetic spelling of the callsigns. Is that a bug in FS or JF Traffic? I think it is FST. Looking into it.
