Add a "remove nearby traffic" functionality, to erase conflicting traffic on approaches.

Hello,
Would it be possible to have only static planes at the airports without the departures and arrivals? I use FSHUD+FSTL for "en route" aircraft. Static aircraft managed by FS Traffic use less CPU than FSHUD and seems a good combination. Can I tweak a file in the FS traffic folders to avoid departures and arrivals? Thank you.

@maximelb it looks like this is what you are looking for.

I have very little confidence in the confirm button, and always click on it 3 or 4 times. In the next update, any chance of flagging it, so that you have clicked on it and its been accepted. ie after you click on it, it changes colour?

Hi JF,
I don't own this yet, but I was wondering/dreaming... I wanted to simulate the year 1960 as closely as possible. So, presumably 1. I'd have to obtain the aircraft models and load them into the sim from somewhere. 2. I'd have to program the flight routes into FS Traffic as appropriate to the aircraft operating limits. 3. And then set the date to 1960 in the sim.
Would FS traffic obey the date? Or would I still see Airbuses flying around? Do you think this technique is the best way to achieve my aims?
-
@disco79stu Yes, this is much needed :)
-
@flit You don't have to set the date. FS Traffic only bases it schedules on the programmed day. Month and year are not programmed and there is no way of doing that, at the moment at least. So if you make new schedules, regardless of the date in the sim, the 1960 schedule will be active. You would have to copy in and out different versions of the schedules if you wanted individual years to be different.

I cant believe that nobody has requested a military aircraft expansion pack yet as you did with previous versions. I would love to see modern military aircraft and ideally for me, 1970/80 aircraft like Phantoms, Lightnings, Jaguars, Canberras as well as cargo and training aircraft. Almost forgot to mention helicopters. Thank you for developing this fantastic programme.
-
@rabski the guys at https://militaryaiworks.com/ were trying to work on that but I haven't seen any update in months. FSLTL is not producing any new models and, maybe I'm mistaken but I don't think FS Traffic will ever do military AI traffic.

It would be great to be able to install the program and the fleet in a different folder than Community, so that it can be activated and deactivated both through the Control Center application itself, as well as from third-party applications, such as MSFS Addon Linker.
I know it can be done manually, copying the folders manually, but it could be implemented from the installer itself.

The following aircrafts would be nice:
BAe146 / Avro RJ series (Sabena, Brussels Airlines, Swiss ...)
Airbus 310 (KLM, Lufthansa, Sabena, Swissair, Delta ...)
Airbus 300 (Lufthansa, Air France, DHL ...)
Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 (KLM, Swissair, Austrian ...)
McDonnell MD-80 (SAS, Swissair, Alitalia, Finnair ...) -
It would be good to have the possibility to clear traffic infront of you for example when on approach or waiting behind a long line of aircrafts for take off (sometimes you just don't have the time to wait).

My requests would be:
Aircraft and schedules:
-
Add any remaining missing airliners and airlines
-
list itemPlease add in GA, corporate jets and cargo planes
-
list itemIf you haven't already done it (I haven't checked), helicopters at heliports and military planes would be cool
-
list itemHistoric planes, airlines and schedules (I'd like to go back to the 1990s, 80s or even 70s!)
Core features:
-
Having aircraft landing and taking off as soon as you load into the game
-
list itemBring back the traffic density slider
-
list itemHave a way to see information about each plane in a label or on a map (destination airport, flight number, departure/arrival time etc.)

It would be good if the Aircraft Manager and the Schedule Manager could sort aircrafts/schedules based on airline. That would make it easier to see what aircraft types of a certain airline need replacements so that if your favourite airlines fly complete schedules.
