Engine Performance in cruise

Is it just me or has the atmospheric improvements in SU11 kind have thrown off the engine power up at altitude.
I'm finding myself with the power levers fire-walled in the higher climb and cruise segments and not temping out.
Then when I do get to cruise i'm dialing them way back to a TGT of around 640-650*C - when typically with the 502's around 26/30000 ft you'd be around 88% and 730-740.
