Windshield de-icing in the Caravan

Hi, I've noticed that when ice starts accumulating on the windshield, the windshield de-icing switch doesn't seem to have any effect; the blue windshield de-icing light is illuminating. I do notice, however, that turning on the wing de-icing seems to clear the windshield ice. Not sure if this is an Asobo limitation or a bug.

@philipj yes, same here. I'm actually at -5° C in Poland and I can't get rid of ice from w/s and aircraft.
