Analog Caravan v0.1.2 - question on avionics change
-
From the patch notes:
"- Added support for WTT Autopilot Mod, and WTT KAP140 implementation. A separate package is required to use WTT mode, available at pms50.com/msfs/. This mode limits radio equipment selection to the PMS50 GTN-750 GPS, which is a limitation of the WTT Autopilot System."
It's not clear to me what this means. If we downloaded the packages mentioned in the manual (PMS GTN 750, PMS GNS 430/530 and FS2020-USER-TESTER KAP 140), is there anything else we must do? What is this "separate package" that is referred to in the notes? I don't see anything else on the PMS webpage.

@frankt
Thanks, but I see nothing there for the Caravan. There is a file under "G1000 replacement" but that is for the default C208.On the Avsim forum someone provided a direct link to https://pms50.com/fs2020/gtn750/aircrafts/pms50-gtn750wtt-aircraft-bksq-caravan.zip
But I do not see any mention of it on the pms50 website.So if we use this WTT Mode, does it clash with FS2020-USER-TESTER KAP 140 or can we leave that installed?

@johan217 it's not a G1000 replacement, there is a specific mod for the black square version but it is beta.
Beta versions are only available in the Discord, this is the version that I was using with the previous black square release but not sure if it works with the patch: https://discord.com/channels/821149186229534731/942050954398806066/1006601945789780069
Regarding a new version they are working on it hopefully soon - but mentioned an issue that may need another patch from Black Square:

v1.3
"New custom implementation of the KAP140 Autopilot. The previously recommended mod
presented an incompatibility with the TDS GTN 750 after Sim Update 10 that resulted in
modes getting stuck, and altitude hold mode failing to maintain altitude. No autopilot mod is
required or recommended for the Analog Caravan any more."Well this settles it once and for all :)
Looking forward to the King Air tomorrow!
