      @derek Virtual Office? That’s cheating.

      I’ve been using JF products with FSX and its predecessor, the including JF Traffic series. I have always been so impressed by the quality of work your team produces. Also your Just Trains add-ons too.

      Hence why I’m looking so forward to this new FS Traffic. I just know it’s going to be awesome!

        @Derek curiously, upon perusing the list of aircraft models being released, there is no 767, 777F, MD-11 models. Litterally 95% of both UPS and FedEx's fleets. Really bummed as I've just realized this fact. I was hoping not to mess with AIG but it appears I will nedd to. Any plans on this huge hole in the model set to adding them in?

          They sound like freight planes. I think the ones being worked on at the moment are all for passengers. We also plan to add more aeroplanes after release. and things like GA, military, freight etc are all being looked into.

            Did SU10 add anything helpful in terms of SDK for the development of FS Traffic or is it even delaying it?

              Can’t wait for FS Traffic. Hopefully Asobo will work on their SDK to make this happen soon. Keep up the good work JF Team :flexed_biceps:

                @derek Are there any news about this tool? Because there is nothing new since around two months. Or are you just waiting for more news about SU11 Traffic Improvements?

                  Not waiting for SU11. We are currently working on the software itself. When there is more to show we will probably post up some screenshots or videos etc.

                    Hello everyone.

                    We are now getting towards the final stage of development of FS Traffic. Following the upcoming release of SU11 we do want to spend a bit of time testing and polishing the final product. Once this is done we will be in a position to give out more details, ramp up the preview content and even give a release date. Please see our new dev entry in the meantime.

                    Regards

                    John - Just Flight.

                      @derek Great to see you will address GA as well. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long after release.
                      Are you planning on creating GA aircraft models as well, flightplans, or a tool with which we can create our own GA flightplans?

                      For FSX there was a freeware tool called ga-traffic (2nd release candidate). It can still be found on several websites. With it one could create random GA traffic between and around airports. One could set the % of touch & go's, day and night traffic, vfr and ifr and what kind of airports to use, based on runway lengths and parking sizes and perhaps number of runways.

                      From what I remember the results were quite believable. Didn't see too many GA at heathrow but lots at smaller airports. MSFS might be different, we did have afcads in those days.

                                  @derek I only fly cargo. It would be nice if you could introduce some freighters ASAP, if only static non flyable. It gets pretty lonely pulling into empty cargo terminals. And in general cargo is the 'second class citizen' in flight sim which is a shame. During the pandemic cargo kept flying, passengers did not. And looking to the future there are a lot of reports within the industry that the passenger market is expected to decrease, some say significantly, while cargo is expected to greatly increase.
                                  One day within the sim we may see a bustling cargo industry with lots of freighter aircraft, cargo trucks, trains, ground vehicles, workers etc. Much more interesting than passengers. Dream on!
                                  Thanks for all you do at JF.

                                    As John says, it is somethiong we wil look at for the futurebut the majority of interest from flight simmers is still in commercial airline passenger traffic.

                                      Hi,
                                      We're looking to add a handful of additional beta testers to the FS Traffic team.

                                        @stickysims Hello,

                                        The list isn't final and we're adding more airlines as we speak. I'll see what I can do about Cebu. Any others you like to suggest then go ahead!

                                        Cheers

                                        John

                                        @jf-john Hello John
                                        Please include or add Smartwings (B737-700/800) and Czech Airlines (A319/320 and ATR72-500) into Flight Traffic.
                                        Thank you

                                          Hello everyone,

                                          Just to introduce myself, my name’s John and I'm part of the development team at Just Flight, and I'm currently working on FS Traffic.

                                          Whilst all has been quiet, I can confirm that development of FS Traffic is progressing well. Over the past few months we have been working with a team of artists who have been creating over 700 liveries across 43 models, comprising of the various real world aircraft types/engine. Recently we made the decision to add the 747-400 to the fleet. Here’s a preview of it still waiting to be painted.

                                          Traffic.jpg

                                          To address some of the questions and concerns posted this forum and elsewhere; like any other developer we are at the mercy of the simulator when it comes to limitations but we will work with Asobo to iron these out over time.

                                          FS Traffic won’t replace any live traffic but we will be including flight plans for both pre and post pandemic years, along with tools so that you can manage flight plans and aircraft to your hearts content. Let me allay any fears about experiences with much older traffic expansions; FS Traffic is a completely new product with brand new models and code. It's being developed by our in-house team so you can expect the same high level of support as with any of our aircraft products.

                                          I'll bring you more info soon and will regularly be dipping into the forums to answer any questions and discuss any feedback you have.

                                          In the mean time here's a preview of some of the modelling and livery work.
