FS Traffic for MSFS

Glad to see using new models! I had bought Aerosoft but the default Asobo pointy noses are really freaky sometimes! Will be glad to get rid of pointy noses for good.
Also glad to see the iconic 747-400, even though it's retiring I think most of us simulate previous years and we just can't get rid of the queen of the skies

With the delay of SU10, it might be beneficial to the team to hold this back even if it is finished, so they can work out any inevitable bugs that the next update will ship with. Waiting sucks, but it will suck more to have the product but can't use it due to Asobo introducing new problems that didn't exist before :)

Rest assured that when the software is finished and tested it will be released.

If you don't release this product very soon, I will chain myself to your office door so that you cannot leave! :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
You'd need to find our virtual office first.

@derek Virtual Office? That’s cheating.
I’ve been using JF products with FSX and its predecessor, the including JF Traffic series. I have always been so impressed by the quality of work your team produces. Also your Just Trains add-ons too.
Hence why I’m looking so forward to this new FS Traffic. I just know it’s going to be awesome!

@Derek curiously, upon perusing the list of aircraft models being released, there is no 767, 777F, MD-11 models. Litterally 95% of both UPS and FedEx's fleets. Really bummed as I've just realized this fact. I was hoping not to mess with AIG but it appears I will nedd to. Any plans on this huge hole in the model set to adding them in?

They sound like freight planes. I think the ones being worked on at the moment are all for passengers. We also plan to add more aeroplanes after release. and things like GA, military, freight etc are all being looked into.

@derek Are there any news about this tool? Because there is nothing new since around two months. Or are you just waiting for more news about SU11 Traffic Improvements?
Not waiting for SU11. We are currently working on the software itself. When there is more to show we will probably post up some screenshots or videos etc.

Hello everyone.
We are now getting towards the final stage of development of FS Traffic. Following the upcoming release of SU11 we do want to spend a bit of time testing and polishing the final product. Once this is done we will be in a position to give out more details, ramp up the preview content and even give a release date. Please see our new dev entry in the meantime.

@derek Great to see you will address GA as well. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long after release.
Are you planning on creating GA aircraft models as well, flightplans, or a tool with which we can create our own GA flightplans?For FSX there was a freeware tool called ga-traffic (2nd release candidate). It can still be found on several websites. With it one could create random GA traffic between and around airports. One could set the % of touch & go's, day and night traffic, vfr and ifr and what kind of airports to use, based on runway lengths and parking sizes and perhaps number of runways.
From what I remember the results were quite believable. Didn't see too many GA at heathrow but lots at smaller airports. MSFS might be different, we did have afcads in those days.
