Signs brightness
-
Hi there,
Even with the mod brightness os signs is way to high and it's not that much more readable than the default one.
Reading the official MSFS forum it seems that there is a trick to correct this, would you mind sharing it with us so we can enjoy this great package fully ?
Thanks,

Hi there
That looks like a screenshot - is there a link to that forum? Looks like contacting JF support might be your best bet. There are various versions (USA, Europe, Military etc) and it has been updated. Support would probably be able to advise.

I made the link visible on the screenshot on purpose... But well...
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/taxi-signs-at-night-unreadable/488861/49I have the 3 of them and at night nothing is readable, but if i'm only one fine... I thought "JF Staff" meant you could help... Alright, I'll find a way to contact support directly

It's quite a long thread, which is why I wanted to see the link. Having read the whole threadI am not sure there is a 'fix' in the way that post describes, which is why it might be best to contact support. We don't do forum support and the support team are always best placed to help.
You can contact them via the links on the JF website:

Thank you @derek.
Yeah, this thread is long and not directly related to JF Real taxiways.
By doing my own experimentation for several days it seems activating HDR helps a lot. The only bad thing with this fix is that first you need to have an HDR compatible screen and second you need to want HDR.
Anyway, thanks for the links I will drop the support a quick message, use HDR in between and whatever is the night trouble, it doesn't remove that by day time this product is a MUST have !

@seb8912 @Derek Since I'm the one in that screengrab pointing them to JF, I just want to reiterate that I contacted JF via a support ticket, and was sent some kind of installer that gets the textures set up properly and makes things readable at night. The night brightness may not have been the original intent of the texture fix, but nonetheless it corrected it for me. I literally just ran the installer/texture fix thing last night and it corrected the brightness issue and "mmmm" showing up in random places. I would attach it here but I don't know how JF would feel about that.

It wouldn't be helpful as it's not a particularly clean workaround - nor does it work in all situations. If you have any issues with the software, your best bet is always to contact Just Flight support.

@derek Definitely, which is what I was hoping to convey to folks on the MSFS forum, but I guess that didn't come across properly unfortunately. :(
I'm happy to remove my statements over there if that would be helpful?
