      Hello all

Installed the update (brilliant) but get a security failure in a black box in the middle of the EFB. Can't use any functions but aircraft works fine.

      Thanks in advance

yeah, so, I didn't have a problem at all when I purchased and installed the 0.0 Hawk version several days ago but the 1.1 update gives me an security failure box in the middle of the EFB. I read previous posts regarding a similar issue in the PA-Arrow and guys mentioned it had something to do with signing in and out of MSFS itself--which is the xbox sign in on the upper right in the MSFS main menu. Well, I tried it and it hasn't helped--the bloody box is still there. I submitted a work ticket but was wondering if anyone else experienced this? I installed the update 1.1 over the existing install (which Martyn mentioned is fine). I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but no luck. Any thoughts would be useful. Thanks!

@dutchpilot By all means ask away on here but if you have submitted a ticket the support team will get back to you to offer assistance. Have noticed a couple of other reports of this since the update so it's going to be something we'll be investigating for sure. In the meantime bear with us and support will reply to you in due course.

.FYI.... I had this problem with the Turbo Arrow 4 as well.

Seems updates to MSFS often requires a reinstall of the aircraft.

                  Martyn

Great assistance from Mark on the support team. I've installed a new JF_Hawk_T1_WASM.wasm file supplied by the team and it fixed the problem. I believe the support team is going to update the installer or at least have the fix available via a pinned message.

Thanks for the help. Brilliant product!

For anyone else encountering this issue, please download the latest version (v1.2) from your account.

                          Mark,

I had the exact same problem. i tried reinstalling version 1.2 and that resulted in the same error message in the efb. To solve this you have to carry out a complete deinstallation using the version 1.1 .exe deinstall option. Deleting the Hawk folder in the community folder leaves legacy data. Once I used the deinstallation tool the installation of version 1.2 worked first time and cured the efb registration error.

                          Regards

I also have the "license failure" problem. But I have never had the 1.1 version installed, so the problem can also occure with clean 1.2 installation as well.
