@currator It is highly unlikely MS will ever 'weaponise' MSFS. The days of Combat Flight Simulator are long passed. If you want to shoot things you need to look at something like DCS or War Thunder.

FSX/P3D has a TacPack addon - https://www.vrsimulations.com/tacpack.php - that adds a combat element, but no idea if that will ever come to MSFS. I suspect not.

@currator Radar is not yet active in MSFS, although I do think some devs have got it working in some limited way.

As Derek says, there will never be live weapons on Xbox MSFS, due to the game's PEGI-3 rating.

You can see weapons on PC, you can load them up and they affect handling, but you can't fight with them.

If you buy a PC version through MS Marketplace (or Steam) you don't get to see or load any weapons.
Same goes for an XBox version - you can't see them.

OK - Just Flight is the first party - we publish it obo DC Designs. And yes, buy direct and see guns/missiles. Buy on MarketPlace or XBL, see no guns/missiles.

Not the PC version, no. You can only get an XBox build via Microsoft.
