Re: Traffic at airports in P3D V5.1
Hi folks,
the same for me! At least every second gate in Frankfurt EDDF is empty! Very disappointing because I decited to switch from Ultimate Traffic.
The same in Heathrow. Cannot compare with the promo video on JF website. My traffic sliders are at 100%.
Besides this there is no chance to compile a cargo flightplan. The app freezes. Some others reported this issue too.
I run TG together with XPlane too and there it seems perfect to me. It cannot compare to the P3D version.
Just Flight, please fix those issues. There is great potential in TG for P3D but at the moment it is a huge disappointment.
Best
Philipp

If your expecting an answer from JF your not going to get in the forums, you have to put a support ticket in but not a lot they can do search the forum a lot with the same problem, and no feedback as to the way forward for TG.
Two things.
- We don't do support via forums. We have made that clear since about 2004 when we opened a forum. If you have a problem with our software, get in touch with us and we will do our best to fix it or tell you why it works that way.
- Traffic Global is our best selling title for P3D. It is designed to add AI traffic to the host simulator. It is based on real-world airline schedules but it cannot make your game follow FlightRadar24. There have to be compromises in the aircraft, schedules and liveries included and, to some extent, to the airports, given that some newer places don't exist in the host sim. It achieves this aim admirably. If you are aware of something that is broken or you think needs amending, then please raise a support ticket and we can look into it.

@Derek
Judging by other forums TG is the least used AI program now by users who purchased it for P3Dv4 x5, and if JF get it better they may come back. And as for realistic real World airline schedules I have never heard of some of the airlines now in TG, and you now have a slider to replace the missing livery's as it looks like JF are not going to include them as there is nothing wrong with TG now.
And buy the sound of things have mothing planed for the future of TG, MSFS yes loads of things planed I will not be a customer , I have used JF traffic products for over 20years still have the CD versions but no more the latest replies have confirmed to me time to move on to another AI program when I install 5.2 sorry to say. -

Judging by other forumsI can only judge by our sales figures, sorry.

Our plans are to continue supporting the software for as long as people want to use it. We provide support for some FS2004 and earlier software, and our Traffic franchise is no exception.

As for the Real-World airline schedules can you update us users when Mongolian Airlines got landing slots in all UK main airports including Heathrow. As I cannot find them on the Manchester schedules.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codeshare_agreement
If you can contact support and advise the time and location of the flight you are seeing we can look into it. The software in Traffic Global gets its flights from a database, which is like a big spreadsheet. This is sourced from a commercially available supplier of such things and is the type of thing used by other airlines, travel agents and so forth. However, it can throw up anomalies such as re-named airlines, holding company operators and codesharing. It is also, of course, possible to have an error in it. For example, we could remove all reference to British Airways in the database and replace the airline with, say, Aeroflot, which would see Aeroflot operating the Glasgow shuttle each day. But we wouldn't do that.
Also, the database lists aircraft and airlines. For the flight, the airline and the aircraft to be placed in the game by TG, it requires a flight plan, an aircraft and a livery. The object of the software is to match the flights in the database with flight plans in the software, aircraft models and liveries.
Not every aircraft, airline and livery in the world can be included, so there is an option to use alternative liveries.
I think we have already explained to you how the flight legs work, so I won't go over that again.
So, if you can let us have details about the Mongolian flights we can see if this is due to codeshare, an alternative or if there is a bug. -

I have version. 1.1.8 i have EDDF loaded with airplanes, i do have a problem with Cargo traffic. I added my own cargo flights and i compiled only my AI. I don't compile Global traffic at all
If you contact Just Flight support they can look into this for you.
