PA28R Arrow Audio Panel
-
After update 3.0 the audio panel is still not functioning correctly...
- COM 1 audio can be heard any time the Mic switch is set to COM 1, regardless of the Speaker/Phone switch position.
- COM 2 audio can only be heard when the Mic switch is set to COM 2, and the Speaker/Phone switch is up or down.
- Because the Mic switch is controlling the COM 1 & 2 audio, they cannot both be heard at the same time.
- NAV 1 identifier code audio can only be heard when the GNS 530 Ident button is held down (it should toggle instead), and is heard regardless of the position of the Speaker/Phone switch position.
- NAV 2 identifier code audio is working correctly. It is only heard when the NAV 2 power switch is set to IDENT, and the Speaker/Phone switch is up or down.
- The DME Speaker/Phone switch is working correctly. Identifier code audio is only heard when it is up or down.
I did not test the ADF or MKR audio because I was still on the ground and out of ADF range.

What position was the KMA 20 AUTO switch in when this test was carried out?
The AUTO switch was in the default center position... Also, I have now tested the ADF audio and it is working correctly.

I have also now tested the MKR audio and it is working correctly..

@RetiredMan93231 I am still having all of those issues you mentioned in v3, is it fixed for you?

I don't have a fix for these issues... hopefully, they will be fixed in the next release, as stated above by @Martyn.
-
I can confirm this. I'm having the same issue.
-
@RetiredMan93231 Gotcha, I misread your message as it all being fixed, but I see now you just meant the MKR audio works. Though for me, I can hear the MKR audio even if the switch is in the middle, which doesn't seem right.

@Martyn in FS2020 you can assign two different audio channels, for instance, one for aircraft and game overall sounds and a specific one for ATC communication only. In this scenario having the ATC communications audio channel set to headphone and overall game sound to speaker I thought it would be possible to switch that the same way using the Arrow III Speaker/Headphone switches but it's not working as expected, all communication goes to the speaker instead (overall sound).
Can you verify that? -
@anderson I have everything going to my headphones, but that would be a really, really cool feature.
