v 1.1.2.2 GA TRAFFIC CARGO TRAFFIC

I had the same problem for a long time but managed to get it working by coincidence. What I did was to got to national settings in Windows 10 and change the setting for decimal point from a comma to a point. Then restarted the PC (it did not work before restart) and suddenly I got Global Traffic to compile cargo and GA flights without errors. Not sure if it would work for you but it might be worth a try.

Hello
yes that was the solution, I did not think about that since I had never had a problem installing even with TG until a version I do not know which one on win 10. this comma problem I did it on win 95 98 ... and even on win 7.
Thank you DonFlavio for the solution and my apologies to just flight for a problem recurant of windows and not of TG

Hi Don,
I have been having the same issues with GA compile hanging since the recent update. Can you please explain how and where to do the decimal point thing in Win 10?
Thanks. -

Thanks.It’s ok, found it but it was already a decimal point. GA compile still hangs so back to an older version.

TG will not let you go back to an older version.

I wish i could i would dump this version.Hi Ray,
Yes I know thanks, but I had two earlier versions backed up on my external hard drive. The earlier version works perfectly, compiled properly and I’m up and running again. Very frustrating though.
Thanks for your reply. -

I will try it soon but i think thats when TG started going pear shape , the present database is full of missing aircraft and livery's they know this that`s why they have now put a slider in for less realistic but more made up traffic, I hate to say this but I dont think we are going to see an update anytime soon this is a product that JF have less interest in now. -
Hi Derek,
It’s good too see you are monitoring this thread. Are you getting other reports of compile errors with this latest version? If not, then I guess I need to spend some time tracking why my system keeps hanging at the GA compile point. I note Ray in this thread is on P3Dv5.1, I’m loading on P3Dv4.5 -
@Derek
I am referring to left hand column aircraft . ERD. CNA .PL2 .ERJ .BH2 .E7W .146 Mahan air .221 Delta airlines.223 Korean airlines .290 Wideroe . 290 Finnair .310 Mahan air .313 Air Transat .318 Air France and more. 74Y . 74E .75W. 76F .76V .76W .76Y .77F . 77L .77W .77X . 781 . 7M8 . 7S8 . And thats not all of them and if your TG developers dont know this then they have a different Database than we have, And I will not go into livery names that I have not heard off in this part of the world, Early versions did not have this many faults forget real world database do like 360 and let the user pick a seasonal schedule without the errors.
Just my suggestion.PS And what about the tail numbers missing and not working, again reported before but JF looking in another direction and products I fear.

Ray. I'm sure I've already explained this a couple of times now. The entries in the database you list above ARE NOT ERRORS. Remember previously when you listed some airlines, claimed they were fake and I linked you to their Wikipedia pages? The schedules in TG are the real world schedules that were sourced from a reputable and top of the line supplier. They are not made up, edited, enhanced or whatever else you think we're conspiring to do with them.
Yes, not all entries have an exactly corresponding aircraft in the fleet, but that is where the slider in the compiler comes in with the different levels of flight matching. For example, in the TG database there is an Aeroflot using the aircraft code 738. In the schedules database there are Aeroflot flights using 738 and 73W. We could just ignore all the 73W flights, or you can set the slider to a low level and it will look for any suitable looking "73x" substitutions. If you set the slider higher then if it cannot find a "73x" replacement it will sub in another Aeroflot aircraft in its place. Go higher still (optional of course) and if it can't find another Aeroflot aircraft it will swap in another livery using the same aircraft type.
If you don't like this feature, don't use it! -
@Rich
How come you have real world flight plans placing Mongolian Airlines in the UK and EU airports i was not aware they fly in this part of the world, and if you need a slider to create more traffic for missing aircraft do we take it your going to add them in the future, I ask that as you have not stated if or when the next update will be this Year.
How is replacing missing aircraft and livery's realistic AI that was stated when released.
Is the tail number missing by design intentional. -

Is the tail number missing by design intentional.Coincidentally, this question was asked on another thread. I replied thus:
If you can contact support and advise the time and location of the flight you are seeing we can look into it. The software in Traffic Global gets its flights from a database, which is like a big spreadsheet. This is sourced from a commercially available supplier of such things and is the type of thing used by other airlines, travel agents and so forth. However, it can throw up anomalies such as re-named airlines, holding company operators and codesharing. It is also, of course, possible to have an error in it. For example, we could remove all reference to British Airways in the database and replace the airline with, say, Aeroflot, which would see Aeroflot operating the Glasgow shuttle each day. But we wouldn't do that.
Also, the database lists aircraft and airlines. For the flight, the airline and the aircraft to be placed in the game by TG, it requires a flight plan, an aircraft and a livery. The object of the software is to match the flights in the database with flight plans in the software, aircraft models and liveries.
Not every aircraft, airline and livery in the world can be included, so there is an option to use alternative liveries.
I think we have already explained to you how the flight legs work, so I won't go over that again.
So, if you can let us have details about the Mongolian flights we can see if this is due to codeshare, an alternative or if there is a bug.Worth reading that thread and then, if you can let us know the details via a support ticket, we can, of course, look into it.
