Hello guys,
I'm also patiently waiting for the update that is supposedly coming to our beloved Starship. In the meantime, I have taken the task of taking all cruise performance data from the Starship POH, digitized it and went over every single data field for reasonableness. I actually discovered 5 or 6 errors in the POH that I manually corrected. This data has been uploaded as a website format and is now free for you to use.
This is the first version of the site and as mentioned before, I have done my best to go over every data field.NOTES:
- The website infinitely interpolates your data entry and as such is very accurate.
- It takes in your data and finds surrounding data fields to be able to interpolate.
- As such, edge cases (e.g. at maximum operating FL) you might get a no data because one of
the entries lie (just) outside the lone bracket. For example, Max Range Power, 11000 lbs, FL410. If the OAT
you insert is any value except ISA -10°C you'll get an error as that's the only FL410 data field. - As I have reported here before (and if I'm not mistaken acknowledged by Nick recently) sometimes indicated
fuel flow will indicate 10-12% less than the calculated (POH) value. This is indicated in red on the site.
However, the actual fuel flow will be accurate (fuel burned over time as measured with tank qty) - If you see any discrepancies between what the POH indicates and what the website returns, don't hesitate
to drop me a message. I did my best to test out a scenario or two.
Hope it makes flying the Starship a little easier and more precise. Enjoy ...
