    Hey guys,

SU 7 is out for MSFS 2024 (Oct 14th).

Any observations with the Commander so far? Any gremlins?

    Thanks!

Did a short pattern: no noticeable problems so far.

there is a bug with drag calculations in Su7. I discovered it few days ago. Dev Raul from FSReborn mention it in dev forum here:
        https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/su7-engine-performance-or-drag-is-wrong/18609/5

For my perspective all aircraft have weaker drag, so slowing it down is harder and flying out of tables speed

Thanks for that very important and also annoying information. Other reports from Commander/FS pilots are very appreciated.

Oh man. I have so little time for flight simming but I love it. It frustrates me very much that MSFS produces that disruptions ever and ever. There's another story with the A2A Aerostar and it's cabin lighting system where MSFS updates lead to errors, A2A fixed it and another MSFS update corrupted the map light again. Now it's not fixed till today and renders that aircraft partly unflyable at night.

Maybe that whole MSFS thing is getting to complicated...

The only thing that keeps me with MSFS is Black Square. 😉

I flew 100nm today with no issues in SU7. Didn't notice anything to do with bugged drag calculations. Just saying...

@SkipperMacz bugged drag calculations will be more noticeable with higher performance aircraft, tho you may get slightly better than the book performance in the 114. I'm curious to know if it is effecting all aircraft (unfortunately I believe it would be). Not sure how something that big can get messed up in a sim update, very strange...
