Cabin temperature lights
-
I know updates are coming soon, so I beg you to please include an option in the tablet to remove the cabin temperature too hot/cold lights (and the engine monitor light if that also doesn't exist IRL). We have the cabin temperature gauge so for me the fictional lights kill a lot of immersion. I'm not saying remove them completely but please give us the option. Many thanks.

@tlvid I'll take your opinion under advisement. Unfortunately, I like to keep things consistent across my fleet, and doing this for all my aircraft would be more than a full day's work. I'll look at exactly how difficult if would be (it depends on a lot of little factors in the model). Since it matters so much to you, I just wanted to reassure you that the engine monitor alarm indicator is a real option frequently connected to those units.

I would also love a way to disable the cabin temp lights in the cockpits, much like there is in Starship (or they're just missing altogether), though I realize that's an edge case because it has that handy cabin temp gauge right there on the center pedestal.

@Black-Square I do appreciate your point of view but the way I see it there are 3 kinds of people. Those who want to monitor the temperature with the lights, those who want to monitor it with the temperature gauge, and those who don't want to monitor it at all. At the moment only 1/3 of those groups are catered for.
It is undeniably an immersion killer and the only real negative point in what would otherwise be 10/10 products so I, and many other people, would be grateful if you'd take the time to give us the option. Thanks.

i would at least like an option to remove the cabin tempurature lights.

How is it an immersion killer? In a real airplane you would feel the heat; other than Nick coming to your house with a blowdryer how would you expect to know that the cabin is hot in one of his airplanes? I'm sure there are the 3 schools of thought you mentioned, but I seriously doubt it's split into thirds. I'd prefer the temp gauge where you can see it more easily, but the cold and hot lights are a pretty elegant solution to not having actual heat or cold effects.
I'd much prefer Nick spend his precious hours updating his fleet to 114 standards than worrying about a pair of tiny lights that, in my opinion, most people are fine with. Or at least do an opinion poll of some sort before assuming 2/3rds of the people are unhappy with the current solution.

Yep, I agree, efforts best spent elsewhere. I do love it when people flying a virtual plane on a monitor with no actual feedback to them of controls, motion, heat, vibration etc say two little lights are an immersion killer lol
Not meant to offend anyone but it does make me giggle
