Starship EFB is stuck.

Hi Starship flyers !

The EFB of my plane is struck on the « options » page and remain completly unclickable for 2/3 mounths now. The only thing i can do is to stow it.
I’ve uninstal/instal the A/C again but the issue is still here.
I’ve also checked my mods and done other tips i had found in topics…same result…

Did anyone else get this issue ? And what is the solution because i realy love this plane…

@Episcopale What platform was this on, and where did you purchase Starship from? If this is on PC, and you purchased from Just Flight, did you encounter any errors from the installer?

Hi, i’m playing on PC i bough the Starship on Simmarket.

This is a long shot, but since you're on PC, the easiest thing we could check is if all the necessary files are in the tablet folder. If you could, please take a look in the following folder, and report back, [Your Community Folder]\bksq-aircraft-starship\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\Generic\Misc\bksq-aircraft-starship\BlackSquareTablet\Shared\Assets\

There should be six svg files total.

Affirm i have these 6 files :

« starshipCabinVisualizer »
« starshipElectricalVisualiser »
« starshipEngineVisualizerPT6 »
« starshipPayloadBackground »
« StarshipSilhouette »

They’re all in .svg ofc

@Episcopale Thank you for taking a look. When you say you've checked other mods, I assume that means you've tried a completely empty community folder? Is this MSFS 2020 or 2024, btw? Are you using any 3rd party liveries for Starship?

Most of my mods are custom liveries. I removed the few outdated mods i had but i didn’t empty my folder.
Should i do it ?

*it’s fs2020, i had a third party livery but i had deleted it before i deleted/installed back the plane.

I’ve just emptied my community folder, the EFB is back to action ! Thanks for your help !
What kind of mod is usually conflicting with the Starship ?

@Episcopale It can be tough trying to figure out what's conflicting with a particular addon. My strategy, which is easy because I use Addon Linker, is to remove everything, then start adding them back in one type of addon at a time. So I'll remove everything, then add all my planes, then test. If it still works, I add the liveries back, and test. I keep going until the problem resurfaces, then I know which addon type I'm dealing with. I empty it out again, and add half of that type of addon, and test... & etc, until I find it. It's tedious. And it's a bit infuriating if I find myself in the position of the problem never coming back, which has happened twice!

Also though, //42 (Parallel 42) created a free tool that might help you, it goes through your addons and lists potential conflicts it finds.

I feel like I've seen something very similar before regarding broken EFBs and a conflict in the community folder. It's too fuzzy to give specifics and I don't want to send you down the wrong rabbit hole, but I think it might have been a freeware airliner?
