Huge VS changes when changing ALT SEL

Hi,

First of all, what a wonderful aircraft - thank you!

One problem I have though is that if I'm flying straight and level on AP, if I select a new altitude on the altitude selector, the aircraft suddenly pins its VS at +/-2000FPM (depending on if I've selected a higher or lower altitude. Is this something I'm doing wrong?

I have no clue why it would do that. Just changing the alt wont do anything at all unless you also dial in a VS rate and press the VS button

Some screenshots of the cockpit would help diagnose the issue, perhaps.

Thanks for responding both. Here's my cockpit setup. I think I've traced it to my hardware though - the issue only happens when I use the AP panel on my Honeycomb Bravo, and doesn't happen if I use the mouse to control the altitude selector. I use the same controls in all my BS aircraft though and this is the only one it happens in. Any ideas?
