Instr.lights switch landing gear leds off
-
Hello,
A little bug this time. I noticed that switching the instruments lights on switch off the landing gear leds.
-
The indicator lights are dimmed because the system assumes it is dark when the instrument panel lights are turned on.
@Raller That can't be the reason. When you switch on instruments lights in day light nothing change but the leds switch off

When the sun lights the leds there is a difference when the gears are up or down but when it's the instruments lights lights the leds they simply seems off, that can't be. The sun is of course stronger than the instruments lights.
2 others things :
- I can start the engine with the plane key hanging on the altimeter
- I can open the doors even when they are locked.

Yes, the landing gear indicators dim when the instrument lights are activated. Trying changing the time of day to see that they are still illuminated at night.

Are you using hardware bindings? Yes, I assume that might be possible. Ironically, it's not unrealistic. I've known several airplanes where the key could actually fall out while the airplane was running.

Are you sure you locked them correctly? If locked incorrectly, the upper latch will not engage, preventing them from being properly latched.
