I've been really enjoying using the RNAV511 system but for one issue.

When I am tracking a RNAV radial using the autopilot in NAV mode, I've noticed that the autopilot oscillates in a very regular fashion and it's offputting in the cockpit, inducing a mild dizziness. The autopilot is presumably correcting for wind, but it does it abruptly 1 degree every second. You can see the yoke move to the right, straighten up, then move to the right ad infinitum. If I switch it over to HDG mode, there is some correction, but it's much smoother and less frequent. Similarly, I haven't noticed this oscillation if I'm using NAV mode direct to/from the real VOR station.

Is this real life behaviour of the autopilot?

@Neal in my experience yes, I never use NAV mode on older autopilots as they tend to track hunt even in no wind creating an oscillation that can get much worse IRL than I've seen in the sim.
