    Hi,

For some reason, I am getting this error while installing the Commander 114. See photo.

I have practically all Black Square aircraft and have never had an installation problem.

I thought, okay, I'll do a clean installation of MSFS 2024 and reinstall the Commander; same thing, the same error again.
On a new attempt, the installation went through and I was able to load the Commander, but on the tablet I couldn't see anything about the engine; the page on the screen was black.
Does anyone have an idea what I can do?

Choose custom installation and use the folder suggested by default. That worked for me, at least.

@Fabbi I installed it to my external community folder and used MSFS add on linker. Worked perfectly.

I haven’t bought it yet; I’ll go and get it as soon as I get home. Could you tell me whether the installation file is a ZIP file or just a plain EXE file? I’m a bit worried about running into that sort of problem. Or what is the file name? Many thanks.

I ignored this error and let the install continue. Aircraft seems to work, but shoud I reinstall?

@Voxen I too ignored it when I first ran the installer, but when loading the plane in the sim the engine visualizer and the storm scope did not work. So I uninstalled it and installed it to a custom path. Now everything works just fine 🙂

After downloading the latest update, the installer doesn't even give me the option for a custom installation, and is unable to install anything anywhere, because of the path issue.

@Pondimus I think on one of these installer error threads, someone mentioned they still had the option to uninstall, and after doing that they were able to install successfully. Have you tried that?
