    G’day,
The F70/F100 is looking like a great product and will definitely be a day one purchase for me.
Just wondering if GPS implementation has been considered for a future update?

In Australia where I’m based we still have a number of operational F70/F100 aircraft which primarily operate to regional or mining airports.
Instrument approaches at these airports are almost exclusively RNAV/RNP based GNSS approaches.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Thanks for the interest! Yes, we are considering GPS implementation for a future update, but it's tricky to commit to that or give any timeframes at this stage. For the initial release, we've focused on replicating our reference aircraft, which didn't have GPS equipment, and then any post-release updates/upgrades will be largely driven by community feedback.

The aircraft in the sim, even without GPS equipment, are still fully capable of flying RNAV approaches; they'll just generate scratchpad messages informing you of low position accuracy and when the aircraft has been degraded to IRS Only Navigation.

Upvoting this! I know Just Flight loves retro but simmers overwhelmingly value real-world routes and operations, which are currently "legally" impossible due to lack of GNSS.

I'm all for GPS implementation too, if a retrofit exists IRL (I haven't done my homework!)

Fokker Services introduced a GNSS retrofit option back in 2009 https://www.airport-technology.com/uncategorized/news61714-html/

This question was also asked last year https://community.justflight.com/topic/8516/fokker-70-100-gps-retro-fit

Altought retro is great, my vote for GPS being an option too.
