Upvoting this! I know Just Flight loves retro but simmers overwhelmingly value real-world routes and operations, which are currently "legally" impossible due to lack of GNSS.

I'm all for GPS implementation too, if a retrofit exists IRL (I haven't done my homework!)

Fokker Services introduced a GNSS retrofit option back in 2009 https://www.airport-technology.com/uncategorized/news61714-html/

This question was also asked last year https://community.justflight.com/topic/8516/fokker-70-100-gps-retro-fit

Altought retro is great, my vote for GPS being an option too.

Def my vote to. It would be great to see a GPS retrofit

I would love GPS RNAV as an option, especially since many of them IRL have had this retrofit.

I'd like to also show my interest and support for the addition of an optional integrated GPS. Ideally this would be an option in the EFB aircraft configuration menu that would add a GNSS navigation status display unit and change the FMS to receive position updates that are corrected by the GNSS receiver.

This is necessary in Australia where the aircraft are largely operated into remote airfields that lack ground-based radio navigation and often have only RNP approaches. I suppose this is a feature request for those of us nerdy enough to want to do it right 🙂

I too vote for GPS integration.
The loss of NDB beacons in the real world as well as in-sim in conjunction with the lack of availability of old school NDB, VOR, DME approach charts alongside the increasingly widespread implementation of RNAV/RNP approaches doesn't diminish our love of flying old school techniques but it definitely affects our ability to fly them.
If we had GPS integration then at least we can continue visiting airfields where these aircraft were once operated, albeit flying more modern approaches.
