(MSFS2024) After the walkaround, I open the rear door, lower the ladder, and enter the cockpit. When I then try to close the rear door via the EFB, it fails to work because the steps are still extended. So I have to go back to the door to manually retract the ladder. At that point, I might as well just close the door manually! This makes the closing function via the EFB virtually useless.

Same thing happens with the front pilot door. (What's more, when the ladder is extended, I can manually close the front door from the outside, and the ladder actually stays visible outside.)

Could you please look into and review this feature? Opening and closing the doors via the EFB should also extend and retract the ladders.

I can't reproduce being able to close the pilot door on the ladder. There's only one clickspot on the exterior for the pilot's door, and the code is simple, so I don't think there's anything wrong there. It's possible I fixed this a while back and forgot to document the change for myself. I've also now made the tablet buttons first stow the ladders if they are deployed. Then a second press will close the door.
