STBY ALT PWR OFF. No matter what I do I can not get this to go out. This after the update.

Light (Nr 1) is on because Switch (Nr 2) is in the off position. You need to turn the standby alternator ON (Nr 2). Only then the Light (Nr 1) will turn off.

To answer your question, no update will fix this because it does work as intended.

@RealPax no it dose not. I can turn it on right after startup and it will stay on the entire flight. I'm on 1.1 or what ever the first update was...

Well based on the picture it must be on because the switch is off. Why it does not work for you is hard to judge. If you like you can upload a Pic. Only this way we could trouble shoot.

In case you upload pics pls. make sure the cockpit is shown incl. the power settings. Make sure the failure page on the tablet does not show any failure and just to be on the safe side. Push the generator switch towards "reset" one time.

            EDIT:
There has been a similar discussion shortly after release. You might look this up as well.

As far as I remember it was a wrong binding that caused the issue.

But again, based on the provided picture the light must be on because the standby alternator is switched OFF.
