    Hi all,

I spent some time playing with the MSFS sensitivities in order to make the throttle axis feel better. In all my Black Square TP aircraft, I have had great success with the Throttle Axis 1 (0 to 100) binding in MSFS for the throttle, giving me the entire range of forward and reverse travel and needing no external software (which I have and use for more advanced shenanigans).

In the Caravan, though, Nick made some changes to the internal limits of throttle travel (see here) compared to the other planes, and personally, this made the beta range feel very small on my physical axis and did not afford much fine control.

This is the end result of my experimentations. I have not yet done any flying with it to see how the sensitivity on the forward range really affects it in practice, however on the ground the forward travel feels nice. I spent a good five or ten minutes taxiing around in a circle to play with the beta and reverse ranges, though, and I felt it was a good end result that seemed to match the visible throttle travel in the virtual cockpit with the physical limits of my throttle. Here are my settings:

The Neutral setting in MSFS is what moves the end of forward/beginning of reverse travel off to the left. The beta range is the initial forward 15% of travel, so a value of -0.55 matches fairly well with hearing the beta/reverse detent clicks. The Sensitivity+ value has been adjusted so that the value at 50% travel is about 15%, hard to tell on a unitless graph, but verified with the idle detent and looking at the marks on my physical throttle.

Of course these can be tuned to user preference, but if anyone is struggling with the same beta sensitivity, please give this a shot.
