@Black-Square As I’ve mentioned several times before, this is a truly outstanding aircraft that the flight simulation community has been eagerly waiting for, and it is genuinely a premium-quality model.

The update released today is also excellent and further enhances both the flight experience and the aircraft itself. The panel looks fantastic, and the new panel textures are beautifully done.

However, I must strongly emphasize the lack of glass effect, reflections, and light interaction on the instruments. This is a critical issue that should not be delayed — it requires immediate attention from the developer, and a proper solution needs to be implemented.

In its current state, this cannot remain as it is. It cannot be ignored, and it is not realistic to wait for Asobo to address it at some undefined point in the distant future — in practice, that means never.

In my personal opinion, the highly respected developer of the Caravan is absolutely capable of finding a solution to introduce proper reflective and glass effects on the instruments.

I strongly urge that this be treated as a top priority and addressed in the next update — or, if possible, through a dedicated hotfix.

Yeah, are you sure you tried out today's update? There's definitely reflections visible (at least in MSFS 2024).

Not for me... maybe I just need to increase graphics settings? It looks like there's no glass at all on my gauges (I checked on the Baron and on the Caravan). By contrast, on the A2A Aerostar 600, there is very nice glass. I am using the latest update for the Caravan.

In 2024, I see very little indications of glass when looking directly at the instruments, which is probably intentional, but looking sideways long the console, I can see definite reflections and a glass medium at the front of every gauge.

I'm seeing glass reflections on my screen as well, I can't see what the difference is from the A2A Aerostar from my perspective.

@batkizoltan In my opinion, your attitude needs an urgent fix by the developer...

flying in VR in the update, there are no glass reflections at all. It's a bit of a bummer, comparing to competitors like A2A who not only have working glass in front of the instruments when looking at it from all angles, but also give it some depth, by adding a little grime and dust to the edges of the glass. I don't need that, but it's nice. But what I would like to see is at least some glass effect when sitting in front of the panel.

Blacksquare already acknowledged that this is a problem in MSFS 2024. So there is no need in discussing if there is a problem or not. It is already acknowledged in a different thread.

I know this might not be 100% true to live but we have to make some sacrifices for usability. In real live I can use my hand to quickly cast some shadow on one of the instruments in case the reflection is to strong.
We do not have this option in the sim.
This said I like the current way it is.
