STBY ELEC PWR INOP light during preflight

during preflight with BATT ON and STBY ALT PWR OFF, should the STBY ELEC PWR INOP annun light be illuminated? now it is not illuminated but according youtube video and AI questioning it should be illuminated.

I'm a little confused with this, STBY ALT PWR OFF. No matter what I do I can not get this to go out. This after the update.

Have you looked at the failures on the tablet to see if the Standby Alternator has failed?

Just to rule this out I would manually delete the files from the community folder and reinstall the update 1.1.
Just to make sure it is not a corrupt installation.
It does work on my side.

Sorry just checked your pics again. May it be that your power lever is very low?
In your second Pic it does indicate that the generator does not generate enough electricity and therefor the Stby Elec PWR is on. That is indicated by the light in the middle line.
In your first Pic the switch is off and it does indicate with the light in the lower line.

I only get the "STBY ELEC PWR INOP" warning light when I turn of the switch during flight.

Still acting up...Funny thing is, is that the Cargo variants are fine???????

Turn the knob on the amm/voltmeter on the left side to the Gen and Alt positions and show screenshots. I mixed up the above screenshots and didn't realize one was saying PWR ON, I thought it was OFF and INOP, so unless the generator is failed, which I doubt given that you've been looking at the failure screen, I'm curious what the generator and alternator power draws are.
