    @Black-Square I would like to ask — and also kindly request — whether the upcoming update will address the glass effect and instrument reflections on the cockpit gauges, as this is currently something that is noticeably missing from the overall visual experience.

    I understand what the developer previously mentioned: that there are limitations on the Asobo Studio side regarding this aspect, and that this issue may not be resolved until those limitations are addressed. However, it is also visible that since release, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator have not really focused on this problem, and in my personal opinion, they are unlikely to do so in the future.

    For this reason, I would like to ask the Caravan developer to consider implementing their own solution for instrument glass effects and reflections. Even an interim or custom solution would significantly enhance immersion and visual quality for users, at least until — or if ever — Asobo addresses this limitation.

      We've been discussing this on the developer forums for a while. Asobo made an undocumented change that required us to change or glass materials, and they still do not appear to be working as they once did in MSFS 2020. Hopefully we will see some movement on this soon.

      @Black-Square Quick question, are you still waiting on Asobo to change something or are you working on something on your side?

        @StefanL85 I'm planning on looking into it before my next round of updates. I had some promising tests that produced results somewhere between the two examples posted here, which I think might be a good compromise between almost no reflections, and not being able to see the instruments.

            @batkizoltan @kityatyi @RealPax @StefanL85 @Zacke

            Hello everyone. I hesitate to wake this subject again, but has anyone here experienced the glass in the Commander 114 yet, and would they like to render an opinion? This is one case where my preferences are not necessarily aligned with the broader community, so it's difficult for me to judge what everyone is looking for.

            I'm looking to know what you think before I go and add the 114's glass effect to all my other aircraft in MSFS 2024. Thank you!

              @Black-Square please add this effect. IMO it's look much more real.

                +1 Glass effect adds some visual fidelity and improves the overall immersion for me. 🙂

                    @Black-Square

                    First, I am glad that you are confident enough to assume I did purchase the commander. You have been right in my case. 😉
                    Just kidding I guess it is almost 100% sure I will purchase everything you will release without even thinking about.

                    Regarding the glass effect. I wasn’t unhappy with the way it is currently on the other planes as it will give better visibility. This said the version you are using in the commander does it as well for me.
                    I would be fine if every plane would have the same effect.
                    One thing I noticed, f.e. in the caravan the glass effect was visible on the 2nd/3rd screen but not on the primary screen right in front of me.
                    With the commander this is exactly the opposite. The glass effect is visible on the primary screen but not on the secondary screens.
                    Nothing I am concerned about but worth mentioning.

                      The glass looks great in the Commander! Expanding that to the rest of the fleet would be amazing.
