    Specs say the turbine duke not suppose to operate when OAT is 38 degrees C. Is that right ? If so, that is a very low number, especially at the tropic.

      Yes, that number is right. The turbine duke uses a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the PT6 conversion. I believe the engine's are flat rated and cannot produce full rated power above ~38C. There is also probably cooling limitations due to the installation on an airframe not designed for the engines. 38C is pretty common for PT6 STC's if I am not mistaken.
