Commander 114TC — Garmin G1000 cockpit request.”
-
Hi Nick / Black Square team,
I recently purchased your Commander 114 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and would like to ask whether you would consider offering a Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit version.
I am purchasing a real Commander 114TC and plan to install a G1000 system. I would like my simulator setup to match the actual airplane I’ll be flying as closely as possible, particularly the cockpit layout, avionics, and operating procedures.
An integrated G1000 panel with primary flight and multifunction displays, engine information, and autopilot integration would help me familiarize myself with the configuration of my airplane.
Would you consider this for a future update or separate expansion? I would be happy to provide details about my planned avionics installation if that would be helpful.
If this message reaches Just Flight support, please forward it to Nick at Black Square.
Thanks

Hi Andre,
As you can imagine, I get lots of requests for lots of avionics in all my aircraft. There are many logistical challenges with adding a G1000 specifically, but foremost, I'm not aware that there is a G1000 STC for any of the single engine Commanders. I'm not sure it even has the panel real estate, but I could be wrong. The PA-28 is a similar form factor and needed a panel redesign to accommodate the G1000. Do you have any examples of this setup?
I hope you're enjoying the aircraft! Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you.
