Holding the localizer

On an RNAV approach, I find the airplane zig zagging along the localizer, without settling down.. Am I flying too slow or what might be causing this?

To help someone try to help you, how slow are you flying?

well RNAV approaches don't have localizers, so I'm questioning what you're actually doing when this is happening. Also what avionics options, what radio stack setup are you using?

I am using the STEC autopilot with a TDS GTN750. Maybe I should have used quote marks around the term "Localizer".. I meant zig zagging along the lateral track on final. Airspeed around 90 knots with one or two notches of flaps and gear out..
