Error in ETM Fuel Calculation?
-
Hi,
I wonder why Remaining Fuel F/Rem = Fuel at Destination (slight deviation due to switching)
and Fuel to Dest = 0?
Is there a Bug in Fuel Calculation? I will test this behavior after this flight.
Has anyone noticed similar behavior?Greetings
Bernd

It's not really an answer, but this disclaimer in the manual might explain the situation. Which GPS unit were you using at the time?
Regarding this specific aircraft, the ETM Engine Trend Monitor includes many more navigation and fuel planning features than the EDM800/760 for reciprocating engine Black Square Aircraft. One of these features has proven difficult to integrate with 3rd party GPS units, because they do not all use the native flight planner. Specifically, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) to waypoints and the destination may not possess the correct timezone offset in all conditions. As development continues on these 3rd party products, Black Square will continue to work with the developers to update the fleet, and bring you the most realistic flying experience possible.

Ah, that could be a good clue, since I’m using the PMS GTN750 in combination with the GNS530. Oddly enough, the latter isn't displaying any data either. If the calculations are based on that, they would naturally be incorrect. Of course, I don't know how it works internally...
