Discord for Starship pilots?

@SinkRate Oh, that was you with the Starship discord too!? I've come to recognize your username well, but I didn't make that connection. Sorry, I feel bad that I don't know my users better than I do. I drafted an email to you last night about the Twin Commanders, but I will get back to you about Discord too. Actually, looking in my drafts folder, it contains all of three emails: the one I wrote last night, the one I never sent to you about Discord, and something else. My apologies. I'll look forward to chatting, and you can certainly help with the Twin Commanders. I've been writing the manuals all week, and I would particularly enjoy having you look over them, as there is so much new information for my users compared to my other aircraft.

@chrisjk24 Sorry man, been away from the forums for a bit and just saw this thread.
It never happened because Nick never contacted me. He asked me to get in touch with him, confirmed receipt of my email, then nothing. I've even reached out a few times since (as a real world Jetprop Commander 840 owner) to offer anything he might need in terms of resources or assistance on the Turbo Commander project, including access to my airplane. Crickets.
The upshot is, I wasn't going to go public with the Discord without his blessing, so it never happened. All the backend work was finished, really nice graphical channel layouts, a section for tracking which of the IRL starship liveries had been completed and which hadn't, etc.
Oh well.

@SinkRate I didn't mean to step on your toes. I don't know if there is any easy way for you to merge or take over my server... lmk as I'm hardly qualified to manage one

not going to do it without his involvement/blessing @Black-Square@SinkRate I'm not entirely sure what you need Nicks involvement for unless you intend for the server to be an "official" Black Square server. I don't think I over stepped any bounds by simply making a server for starship pilots to chat, post and potentially organize events over discord. Regardless, I'll keep an eye out for you on discord.

@SadBucket That was the whole idea from the beginning, but there's certainly nothing stopping you, me, or anyone else from putting together an unofficial Discord. My original thinking was that it would deliver more value if it had developer insight and involvement, but I get your point.
That original invite link doesn't seem to be working anymore.

@SinkRate And I'm sorry I still haven't gotten back to you by email yet. By the time I get a full day's work in, I hardly ever leave enough time for the emails that don't absolutely need an answer by yesterday.
