Trip wheel and Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant issue

Don't bind the Bravo trim wheel to the Elevator Axis. Bind it to Elevator Trim Down (Nose Down) and Elevator Trim Up (Nose Up). The bravo wheel looks like a wheel but it acts like two buttons. One button gets tapped when you spin it in one direction and a different button is tapped when you spin it in the other direction.

@Voxen Does it only barely move visually, or are you saying the trim input moves very slowly?
@Black-Square it barely moves visually yes, like I need to turn the wheel a lot for the trim to progress a little

In fact the wheel was already bound to Elevator Trim Down and Elevator Trim Up, not the axis.
What is happening is, if I move the physical wheel very slow and with low amplitude, the Commander wheel follows. But if I move the wheel fast and with greater amplitude, the Commander wheel moves once. In terms of events, it’s like the wheel is sending a bunch of events but only one is processed periodically.
I have the same issue with Bonanza BTW, but not with my A2A Comanche that is butter smooth, using same generic bindings in MSFS.

Try using SimTrim instead of binding the trim in msfs. It works a lot better in my opinion. You can find it on fs.to

Yeah... that's just kinda how the Bravo trim wheel works. It's like that in Xplane 12 and MSFS and for every plane I've ever flown in either sim. There's a certain speed you can spin the wheel at and it tends to work well but if you just spin it like you're on The Price is Right, you'll end up with poor results.
