Engine Visulizer not installing
-
It's to do with file path length but it was an issue with the original release too. Now, after updating I had to completely uninstall, then I could install the new version to a custom path before manually moving it into the community folder. Wish they'd sort it for the next release (and providing an option to remove the cabin temperature indicator which was requested but not replied to).

Super frustrating this didn't get corrected in this update and that there is no way to update without a complete uninstall now.

@thecrankysimmer Just to be clear, it's not something I, personally, can fix in an update. This is an operating system limitation, and I have encouraged Just Flight many times to find workarounds. I was told there was some progress on that earlier this year, but I will do my best to discuss it again with them in my next emails.

I think the way around this is to use custom install location with teh installer, which seems to default to a short folder structure of c:\justflight\product (paraphrasing). It also then creates a shortcut in your correct packages folder so this will just work, but I delete that shortcut and manually copy the folder from the c:\justflightfolder into my community folder because I dont want it to live on my C: drive.
