I did custom location to my normal community folder and still getting the same file path error.

@TheDudeAbides Do the custom location install to the location it automatically selects. Installing it to the community folder using the custom option will cause the same problem as it will run into the same file path length problem.

Yes! That did it!!! Thank you! I'll edit my comment on the reddit launch post with that advice if other people are getting this!

Just took 7AQ for a flight out of KFOK in some questionable weather..the stormscope was definitely nice to have. Shot the ILS 24 using the ILS 400 and the vintage DME. So much fun, but it will take some time getting used to!! Really great work on this one, as always, Nick!

@Esoteric That's a lot of adventure for only the first few minutes of a new release!

@Esoteric That tops my 15 minutes of hand-flying before bed! Can't wait to dig in later today.

Just wait until I find my old KDAB LOC BC 25R plate
That’s going to be a mental workout with these avionics

Did a quick flight around Duluth, MN to check out the harbor this morning The sounds of the engine and gear is just the best thing ever. Beautiful plane, amazing work Nick, I'm thrilled.

I am not what you might call a “hardcore simmer” (awful term btw), but I’ve spent a lot of time with MSFS.
I have a pretty simple rule when assessing these new releases. If it makes me feel like I’m starting from scratch again, making my brain work, it’s doing something right.
My goodness this is doing that, in spades. Nearly crashed on my first take off, then got very confused trying to get a VOR radial set up, had a hopeless fail with the autopilot, then floated down the runway and overran on landing.
All my own fault for failing to remember this isn’t a basic thing, you have to put time in and learn.
Thank you!
Now I have about a days work to configure all my controls in MF/AAO and print out a panel for my rig

100%!
I'm having so much fun learning to fly this one and use all the new pieces of avionics. I did my training before glass cockpits and moving map gps became common in flight schools. We even had Loran C in some of the airplanes and used it on cross country flights. Down in Pompano, FL we would use a radio station antenna known as the 740 beacon to practise NDB tracking and holding
I love that we have the choice in all these aircraft to make it as simple or as complicated as we wish

I'm glad no one witnessed my first flight in the 114. Guess who forgot to sync the dg before takeoff and became super confused when it showed 180 degrees off when I looked at it on the upwind leg
