Air conditioning turns off after takeoff ??

Just wondering if the air conditioning turning off after takeoff is correct or maybe a bug I have. The compressor will show on but as soon as the wheels come off the ground it turns off and no matter what I do to any of the switches it will not come back on until I land. Same with turbine bonanza and baron.

According to the aircraft manual, the air conditioning system must be switched OFF before takeoff. My assumption is that taking off with the AC left ON could potentially cause damage or place unnecessary load on the system. Are you currently flying with failures enabled?

Failures are currently disabled

Direct from the manual:
"The air conditioning blower will automatically turn off when the landing gear is retracted, and the fresh air knob should be opened to allow the evaporator coils sufficient airflow for cooling."

@hangar_101 Also from the manual, p. 59 (emphasis mine):
The Bonanza Professional is equipped with an electromechanically actuated air conditioning condenser scoop on the bottom fuselage of the aircraft. When the air conditioner is not in use, the door is fully stowed to minimize drag. When the air conditioner is used in flight, the door is only partially extended. When the air conditioner is activated and the landing gear is extended, the condenser door is fully opened to provide better cooling during ground operations. The air conditioner should be turned off and the door retracted before takeoff to ensure maximum climb performance. The additional drag produced by the air conditioner condenser scoop will rob the aircraft of several knots when in cruise flight, but could produce as much as 10 knots worth of drag should the door become stuck in the fully extended position during flight.
