Bendix/King KI 525A Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) out of sync

If I am headed 360 deg and use the heading beg to turn to 260deg it actually gets out of sync and ends up at 265 deg or so. This has been going on since switching to FS2024. You can kind of seen it happen..

Are you saying that the headig bug moves on its own, after you set it? I’ve never had that happened, from what I can recall. Have you checked if you have any conflicting control bindings?

Unless there is something going on locally, as ploodovic suggestions, I'm reasonably sure the variable is not changing value, so I'm inclined to believe that you're just looking at the parallax effect of the 3D gauge. They can be surprisingly deep in the real aircraft! I actually tend to underrepresent the depth in my aircraft for fear of complaints about excessive parallax.
